The status of a crucial offensive weapon is still up in the air as the Seattle Seahawks get ready for their Week 7 game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Sports Illustrated’s Corbin K. Smith claims that the status of wide receiver Tyler Lockett, who is classified as questionable with a hamstring injury, will be decided on game day.
Pete Carroll, the head coach of the Seahawks, said it was intentional to hold Lockett out of practise the entire week as part of veteran rest. According to Carroll’s remarks, Lockett appeared to be significantly less effective last week against the Arizona Cardinals, a team from the NFC West division. Carroll expressed optimism about Lockett’s chances of suiting up to the media on Friday despite the official doubtful designation.
Carroll said, “[Lockett’s] prospects of playing are quite good.” We’re simply trying to be cautious with him because he was a little handicapped last week but still managed to make it through. We’ll see if we can accomplish this with anyone else in the programme, but you know he can do it.
Tyler Lockett has contributed significantly to the Seahawks’ aerial offence when he is healthy. He scored two touchdowns in a game against the New Orleans Saints just two weeks ago, producing highlight plays left and right:

The Seahawks have been an unexpectedly strong club thus far in the 2022 NFL season, with a record of 3-3 in a tight NFC West division, despite dealing away long-time starter and Super Bowl champion quarterback Russell Wilson in the offseason.
