A Deluxe and Collector’s Edition for the Resident Evil 4 Remake were just presented at the Resident Evil Showcase. For more information on what each edition contains, continue reading.
Various information on the upcoming Resident Evil 4 Remake was made public during the Resident Evil Showcase. This contained a fresh trailer, some gameplay clips, and pre-order information. They disclosed that the game may now be preordered on the PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. The Deluxe Edition and the Collector’s Edition of the game were also made public at the same time. We will go over each of these editions’ unique complimentary gifts below.
Resident Evil 4 Deluxe and Collector’s Edition
Deluxe Edition of Resident Evil 4
On all platforms, the Deluxe Edition is available. It has the following in it:
- Resident Evil 4 Remake base game
- Costumes
- Casual costume for Leon and Ashley
- Romantic Costume for Leon and Ashley
- Hero costume and filter for Leon
- The Hero Filter gives the game a lighter blue tone
- Villain costume and filter for Leon
- The Villain Filter gives the game a more sinister, red tone
- Deluxe weapons
- Sentinel Nine
- Skull Shaker
- Treasure map expansion
- Unlocks additional treasures that cannot be found with the various treasure maps obtainable in-game
- Accessory
- Sunglasses (Sporty)
- Soundtrack Swap
- Original Version
All of these freebies are digital and must be redeemed in-game.
Collector’s Edition for Resident Evil 4
The Collector’s Edition is only offered in hard copy form. It includes all of the features in the Deluxe edition as well as a few extras:
- Digital Soundtrack
- Artbook
- Map poster
- Specially designed box
- Leon S. Kennedy figure
Players will also get pre-order incentives in addition to the Deluxe and Collector’s edition benefits. Pre-ordering the standard edition of the game entitles players to a Gold Attache Case and a Handgun Ammo weapon charm. On the other hand, those who pre-order the Deluxe and Collector’s versions will also get a Classic Attache Case and a Green Herb weapon charm in addition to the pre-order goodies. The player’s inventory will change as a result of the Attache case benefits.
