Resident Evil 4 Remake Release Date: March 24, 2023
The remake of Resident Evil 4 will debut on March 24, 2023. It may now be pre-ordered on the PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Players who purchase the PS4 version of the game can update it for free to the PS5 version. Additionally, the PSVR2 is being worked on with no release date as of yet mentioned for it.
With the premiere of its first official trailer, Resident Evil 4 Remake took centre stage at the June Sony State of Play, giving the showcase the best possible start. All audiences’ adrenaline spiked when this game began the show, signalling to them that it would be a heavy-hitter and setting the tone for the remaining thirty or so minutes of the presentation. There were details about the remake in the just finished Resident Evil Showcase. This contains a new trailer as well as some gameplay sneak peeks.
There isn’t a Resident Evil character more recognisable than Leon Kennedy, and Resident Evil 4 is undoubtedly the most well-known Resident Evil game of all time. Leon has returned and is once more protecting Ashley by shooting Ganados in the head in glorious 4K UHD.
It makes sense for Capcom to remake Resident Evil 4 next, especially considering they’ve already released remakes of Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 2. Although it may potentially be the reason why this remake won’t be released until next year, the fact that it is also working on Resident Evil Village DLC content doesn’t seem to have a significant impact on the production pipeline.
This game will be released on PC and Xbox Series X at the same time, despite being announced on the Sony State of Play in June 2022. The good news is for all supporters. However, the upcoming Resident Evil 4 Remake PSVR2 game will be unavailable to users of Microsoft consoles and computers. At least not until Praydog begins working on a new VR masterpiece, perhaps several months after this one is out.
