The 2022 season has started off with the Green Bay Packers offence having a terrible time. They were severely injured early in the season and their 3-3 start to the 2022 season was mostly due to their inability to replace wide receiver Davante Adams, who was dealt to the Las Vegas Raiders this past offseason. It appears that Green Bay may be seeking to make some changes during the current season in an effort to improve their awful passing game.
According to reports, the Packers will be aggressive in their pursuit of a wide receiver acquisition before the trade deadline, and this has led them to Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool. As the Steelers offence struggles to get going this year, speculations suggest that the Packers have settled on Claypool as the player who can help them reopen their offensive.
A few general managers I ve spoken to are certain Green Bay is looking for potential receiver help on the trade market, @JFowlerESPN who suggests Chase Claypool as a potential target.
Fowler has been saying since before the draft, a Claypool trade is in play for PIT.

Given that the Packers could use all the assistance they can get on offence, this rumour is undoubtedly intriguing. Although Claypool had a strong performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6 that helped the Pittsburgh Steelers pull off an unexpected victory, he had a rather poor start to the season.
Claypool has the ability to be a top receiver, but with Pittsburgh’s current scheme and their inability to decide whether Mitchell Trubisky or Kenny Pickett gives them a greater chance at success, he won’t be able to realise his full potential.
While Claypool, one of Pittsburgh’s top offensive playmakers, may be difficult to part with, the Packers seem to be in a stronger position to compete this year. Claypool’s situation may be worth monitoring as the trade deadline draws near because Green Bay’s desperation might enable them to pull off a surprise trade for him.
The postRUMOR: To aid Aaron Rodgers, the Packers might deal for Chase Claypool of the Steelers.
