Many supporters had already given up on the Seattle Seahawks before the 2022 season. The Denver Broncos acquired Russell Wilson in a trade, and many predicted this team’s demise after that. After all, Russ served as the team’s heart and its linchpin. Pete Carroll’s team was anticipated to have a rebuilding year.
Well, as for the Seahawks, we were dead wrong. Seattle’s record after six weeks stands at 3-3. The offensive and Geno Smith’s development as a serious danger are mostly to blame for it. The offence has thrived thanks to receivers like Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf.
Unfortunately, Tyler Lockett missed a good bit of the 2022 season because of injuries. Despite having a hamstring injury, he played for the Seahawks in Week 6. Pete Carroll, however, is certain that Lockett will be able to play because of their precautions.
Using the Seattle Times:
He has excellent playing chances. To ensure that he can get stronger over the next two weeks, we just put him on ice. We’re just trying to be cautious with him because he was a little bit hindered last week but still managed to make it through. He could do it if there is someone in the programme with whom we can accomplish this.
In Week 7, the Seahawks will play the stern Los Angeles Chargers. One of the league’s top defences has been theirs. Seattle will need Lockett and the rest of the offence to be at full strength if they hope to continue this streak.
Pete Carroll provides a positive update on Tyler Lockett’s status for the seventh game of the season, which first appeared on ClutchPoints.
