Both the football teams from Syracuse and Clemson are undefeated. In Week 8 of the ACC football season, the Orange and the Tigers will face off. Before this unexpectedly important game, let’s make some predictions for the Syracuse football team.

Syracuse Football Predictions For ACC Game Vs Clemson Football

    4. Syracuse football will not gain 300 yards

At home in the JMA Wireless Dome (formerly known as the Carrier Dome, Syracuse’s longtime home stadium), Syracuse played a defensive grind against a very solid North Carolina State defence. Coach Dabo Swinney’s defence at Clemson can perform even better if North Carolina State can contain this Syracuse offence. This year, N.C. State was upset at home by both Clemson and Syracuse, who also held the Wolfpack to an extremely low scoring output. However, Clemson did it when Devin Leary, N.C. State’s primary quarterback, was active and healthy. Syracuse managed to profit on Leary’s injury. This season’s matchups between these two teams versus N.C. State should be distinguished by Leary’s absence from that contest against Syracuse. Before this article is over, we shall talk about this topic once more.

    3. Syracuse will hold Clemson under 350 yards

The Syracuse defence has been the team’s strongest suit this season under Dino Babers. This is a hard-charging, disciplined team that doesn’t back down from a fight, steps up to the plate defensively when necessary, and has outstanding in-game resiliency. This season, Clemson’s attack has been effective. It hasn’t been particularly remarkable, but it has been reliable, which was all the Tigers really required. The main concern for Clemson and Dabo going into 2022 was whether or not this offence could be at least somewhat productive after being genuinely ineffective the previous year. The Tigers have in fact succeeded in developing a reliable and proficient offensive, which has been sufficient to claim the top spot in the ACC. Being good and being elite are not the same thing, though. The Clemson offence is not the best. Syracuse is a match for these players. The Tigers will make some significant plays when they have the ball, but they won’t run amok and have a field day against the Orange defence.

    2. Syracuse will score nine points

The Orange are facing a difficult defence, and they lack the passing game tools necessary to take advantage of this Clemson team. The only team to really exploit the secondary in Clemson’s defence was Wake Forest. Wake Forest has more resources than Syracuse does. Even though Syracuse was playing North Carolina State at home, indoors, in ideal conditions, and against a team with fewer players than Syracuse, the offence did not look very strong. If the Orange couldn’t really get going offensively in that scenario, they’ll probably get sucked in by Clemson’s defence in a contest the Tigers are eager to play.

    1. Syracuse Orange will lose to Clemson Tigers in ACC battle of unbeatens

It’s impressive that Syracuse is unblemished going into this match. Due to their outstanding season thus far, the Orange have a real possibility of winning 10 games in 2022. Nobody anticipated anything like this from the club led by coach Dino Babers. In reality, Syracuse is entering Death Valley to gamble. But at this point, Syracuse’s chances are overwhelmingly against it. A team or defence as strong as Clemson’s has never been seen by the Orange. The Tigers’ high level of physical play will overwhelm the Orange’s offensive capabilities. In the Palmetto State, the SU defence will be strong, but the offence will be completely ineffective.
