Tom Brady’s displeasure have grown as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have not appeared to be the dominant club that many had hoped they would be at the start of the 2022–23 NFL season. When asked if he had considered calling it quits (again) for the 2022–2023 NFL season and returning to retirement on Thursday during his media presentation, Brady delivered an open and sincere response, according to Greg Auman.

“I adore the game. The teammates are great. As I always do, I want to work hard for this team. So, no retirement in my future,” responded Brady when asked if he could envision himself quitting during the current campaign.

It’s impossible for Brady to deny how frustrating this season has been. In their first six games, the Buccaneers only achieved a 3-3 record, and Brady has not had as much time in the pocket as he would have liked. That became evident during the Steelers game last week when Brady was seen storming on the bench and ranting at his offensive line.
Brady has only thrown eight touchdown passes in his first six games and has been sacked nine times this season. He’s only had one interception, but he’s getting off to a much slower start than the output he showed last year.
It wouldn’t be out of the question for Brady to be second-guessing his decision to not retire at age 45 and during a difficult period. Despite this, Brady vehemently refuted the notion that he was considering a mid-season return to retirement, suggesting that he intends to play at least through the end of the current campaign.
Tom Brady led the NFL with 5,316 passing yards and 43 touchdowns while playing for the Buccaneers in 2018. However, he is expected to fall far short of those totals in 2022.
