With the start of the new NBA season, Google has just launched their newest commercial for the Google Pixel 7. It was also a very amazing commercial. In fact, the advertisement distracted even Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo during a recent press conference.
The best part is that when Giannis saw himself in the commercial on TV, he became distracted. When he decided to comically acknowledge himself after seeing the Google ad, he was in the middle of responding to a serious question from a reporter (h/tClutchPointon Twitter):
Oh, that s me. Right there on TV What was your question again?

Fair enough, it was a striking advertisement. Simu Liu, a co-star in the advertisement, had to be acknowledged by the Bucks star. Giannis referred to Liu as his “friend,” and it is obvious that the two grew close while filming the advertisement. Liu is most recognised for his role as Marvel’s Shang-Chi.

Giannis was quite enthusiastic about his one-on-one contest with Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid, who also appeared in Google’s star-studded promo. Here it is in all its splendour, just in case you haven’t seen it. In addition to Candace Parker and Kelsey Plum from the WNBA, the advertisement also stars Jayson Tatum and Jalen Green.
Giannis is the finest in the world. How could anyone not love this dude, really? Even though the Bucks talisman is one of the world’s top stars, he still gets excited when he sees himself on television. Don’t ever alter, Giannis.
